 What is restraining the coming antichrist beast

The bible says clearly that the antichrist beast cannot rise to power until the restrainer is removed. These verses below are ignored by the rapture deniers as they twist scripture to deny the fact of the rapture:

2 Thess 2
6 And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.
7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.
8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:

The question is who is the restrainer? The answer is God the Holy Spirit is restraining evil. But how is He doing that? The answer is God the Holy Spirit is restraining evil in and through the saved church on earth. As the saved pray and call out to the Lord there is great power. Now keep this in mind. God the Holy Spirit is the third Person of the Trinity. As God, one of His characteristics is He is omnipresent. That means He is everywhere in God's creation and there is no where He is absent.

Some teach at the rapture the Holy Spirit is removed from the earth. This is incorrect as God is omnipresent and cannot be removed from anywhere in creation. But the saved church can be removed at the rapture and the restraining influence to evil can also be removed. After the rapture God the Holy Spirit will still be here on earth. People will still be saved after the rapture. But they will pay for their faith with death via the antichrist and his followers. Some will survive and go into the millenium to re-populate the earth. But the majority of the saved after the rapture will die for their faith.
